Illustration work
Olwyn's Art practice has become primarily digital-based but she still loves experimenting with all mediums. She has a fondness for using a limited colour palette of bright "fun" colours that grab attention.

She enjoys investigating deeply into topics that are affecting society at large and producing illustrations and educational resources that provoke thought and conversations in viewers. Themes have included mental health, society structures and also whimsical and fun works which amuse the viewer.

As a paid illustrator she works closely with her clients to bring their vision to life.
​
Her hopes after University are to continue challenging herself to produce high quality editorial work for Newspapers and magazines and delve into a vast variety book projects. View some of her past projects below.

Preparing for Birth; Colouring your pregnancy Journey
My first published book "Preparing for birth" was published by Hammersmith books in 2017. It included over 30 Doublepage speads of highly illustrated images ready for any expectant mother to Colour. All the images were inspired by experienced midwife Bridget Sheeran.

An investigation into our Hustle and Hurry Culture
This is the proposal for Olwyn's final year project. A 100 page research document has already been created. She plans on creating a book and a short animation for her final degree show.

Book Cover Mockups
Throughout the course of Olwyn's degree, she designed several book cover mockups.

Editorial Work
Editorial Illustration are those created to accompany Magazine and Newspaper articles. Their purpose is to grab the viewers attention and entice them to read. Olwyn has created several editorial illustrations during her career.

Personal Work
Outside of client work Olwyn enjoys creating large whimsical painted pieces as well traditional pencil portraits on commission (a popular wedding or anniversary gift).
